Our client is currently recruiting HGV 1 Tramper to operate modern 11-car drawbar transporters. This is a permanent position based in the Suffolk area, offering nationwide tramping and the opportunity to work with a range of prestigious vehicle brands.
Important: You must have a minimum of 6 months current experience transporting 11 vehicles (Lohr / TE Plus or similar) to be eligible for this role.
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday Day shifts or tramping
- Up to 4 nights out per week may be required
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a modern HGV 1 Tramper drawbar car transporter
- Nationwide tramping, transporting up to 11+ vehicles per load
- Collection and delivery of prestigious car brands and vans
- Safe loading, securing, and unloading of vehicles
- Ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety, compliance, and legal regulations
- Maintaining excellent communication with customers and traffic teams
Requirements
- Valid HGV 1 Tramper (C+E) Licence
- Minimum 1 year HGV 1 Tramper driving experience
- At least 6 months current experience on 11-car transporters (Lohr / TE Plus or similar)
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points
- No IN, DD, or DR endorsements
- Self-motivated, reliable, flexible, and customer-focused
