This job is unique in that you are required to be a live-in house manager for three adults with disabilities for two years while simultaneously attending McDaniel College earning a Master\’s Degree in Human Services & Management.

Requirements

1. Bachelor\’s Degree with a GPA of 2.7 or higher; any degree accepted
2. United States Driver\’s License with no more than three points
3. Personal Cell Phone

Compensation

1. Scholarship to attend McDaniel College for the Master\’s Degree in Human Services & Management that covers 100% of tuition
2. $45,000 annual stipend
3. Free apartment shared with one other person, utilities included
4. Health, Dental, Vision Insurance

About the Job

Direct Care Responsibilities

1. Cooking, Cleaning, Toileting, Bathing
2. Participating in recreational activities with the clients that you work with
3. Could include, but not limited to, going out to eat, bowling, going to the movies, going to professional sporting events, taking vacations, etc.
4. Maintaining a family environment
5. Transporting clients to and from their activities
6. Accompanying clients to doctor appointments

Administrative Responsibilities

1. Maintaining a house budget, completing grocery and household shopping for the clients
2. Creating a weekly menu for the clients
3. Supervision of staff that work in the home
4. Creating a schedule and double checking staff\’s timesheets
5. Following up with doctor\’s offices, delegating nurses, clients\’ family and team
