We’re looking for an experienced 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer with a background in an MSP environment. At Target Communications, we deliver a full range of business technology solutions - from IT and cloud to telecoms, connectivity, print, and security. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced MSP, enjoys working across multiple technologies, and wants to be part of a growing business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support across a diverse client base
- Managing and resolving tickets in a fast-paced MSP environment
- Supporting Microsoft 365 tenants (user management, security, policies, troubleshooting)
- Working within cloud-first environments while supporting on-prem systems where required
- Troubleshooting endpoints, servers, networks, and connectivity issues
- Supporting a broad technology stack including IT, telecoms, and connectivity solutions
- Visiting client sites to deliver hands-on support, installs, and project work
- Assisting with onboarding, migrations, and project delivery
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working within an MSP (essential)
- Experience supporting multiple clients and managing competing priorities
- Ability to troubleshoot both cloud-based and on-prem environments (including servers)
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites
- Someone who enjoys being onsite and working directly with customers
- Solid understanding of Windows OS, devices, and networking
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
