We are partnering with a leading proprietary trading firm that applies a scientific and mathematical approach to every aspect of its trading activities. As a Trading Support Analyst, you will join the trading team to provide real-time support for automated, quantitative strategies operating 24/6 across Futures, FX, and Equities. This is a market-facing role focused on trade support, execution quality, and operational reliability. You will monitor live trading, resolve issues, and help ensure the smooth running of systems, while developing a strong understanding of systematic trading and execution optimisation. You will also gain exposure to the firm’s end-to-end trading stack, including proprietary systems, market connectivity, and research infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to real-time trading issues across asset classes
- Collaborate with technical teams to diagnose issues and minimise risk
- Execute trades and manage positions when manual intervention is required
- Identify and improve processes, tools, and reporting
- Partner with global teams to enhance automation and execution
- Build understanding of market dynamics and their impact on performance
- Maintain relationships with brokers and service providers
Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years’ experience in a market-facing financial role
- Strong understanding of financial markets
- Degree in a relevant quantitative or technical discipline
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working with data and technical systems
- Clear communicator with a collaborative approach
- Self-starter with strong ownership and accountability
