Tardis Environmental UK Ltd are a well-established portable toilet and tanker hire business that operate a large fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles across various locations situated throughout the UK. We hire temporary waste and water solutions from 1000ltr waste and water storage tanks up to 30,000ltr storage tanks. Currently members of FORS and hold Gold accreditation.
We are currently looking to recruit a flexible HGV Class 2 HIAB Operative based out of our Sandy Depot to drive our HIAB vehicle along with all Tardis vehicles which fall into your scope of licence.
Hours: Monday to Friday (Start time from 5:30am)
Salary: £19.00 per hour
What You Will Be Doing:
- Operating the HIAB vehicle to deliver and collect portable toilets, welfare units and water/waste storage tanks to client sites across the region
- Loading, securing and unloading equipment safely using HIAB crane in line with ALLMI standards
- Completing pre-use vehicle checks and maintaining accurate tachograph records
- Completing delivery documentation and paperwork accurately
- Representing Tardis Environmental professionally when on customer sites
- Operating additional Tardis vehicles within your licence scope as required
- Working efficiently to meet daily delivery schedules and customer deadlines
- Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness
What You'll Need:
- HGV Class 2 Category C licence - essential
- ALLMI Unlimited HIAB licence - essential
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card - essential
- Driver CPC qualification - essential
- Maximum 6 points on licence (insurance requirement)
- Knowledge of Drivers hours and WTR
- Can do attitude
- Flexibility
