Company Overview: Tardis Environmental UK Ltd are a well-established portable toilet and tanker hire business that operate a large fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles across various locations situated throughout the UK. We hire temporary waste and water solutions from 1000ltr waste and water storage tanks up to 30,000ltr storage tanks. Currently members of FORS and hold Gold accreditation.
Position: We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as we are currently looking to recruit additional staff to support our ever-growing business. We carry out site set ups and installations of temporary site welfare offices/toilets blocks and cabins throughout the UK. We also offer a range of electrical hire items which require testing and maintenance between hires. We are currently looking for an Electrician/Fitter to be based at our Southampton depot. Applicants will need 18th Edition and be fully qualified and competent in carrying out electrical maintenance testing and repairs on a number of hire items including but not limited to water pumps, showers and hot wash units.
Duties: Duties will involve PAT testing, repairing and maintenance of hire equipment.
Training & Progression: We offer internal training to support the works required and actively work to recognise achievements in staff for the purpose of internal progression within the company.
Salary: £20.00 per hour
Hours: Min 40 per week overtime available and will be a requirement during busy periods, travelling will be required with the occasional nights out.

Requirements: 18th Edition, NVQ
Benefits: We offer an annual holiday entitlement of 28 Days which includes 8 bank holidays and for every 2 full years you work for the company you will receive an additional days holiday, up to a maximum of 5 additional days along with a workplace pension scheme.
