Operating a substantial fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles, we supply a wide range of storage solutions, from 1,000-litre tanks through to 30,000-litre units.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Manager to join our team. This is a remote field-based role with responsibility for overseeing the operational performance of our satellite depots across the UK. The position involves regular travel and overnight stays, with accommodation and meal expenses provided.
Reporting into senior management, you will ensure that depot operations run efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with transport and company standards, while supporting and developing depot personnel.
- Conduct regular depot audits to ensure operational excellence and compliance
- Lead, support, and develop depot teams to achieve business objectives
- Monitor and maintain compliance with transport legislation, health and safety requirements, and company procedures
- Support HR-related matters, including employee performance and attendance management
The successful candidate will be a highly organised and driven professional with experience within the transport, logistics, or fleet management sector.
- NEBOSH qualification and/or CPC Holder Preferred
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety, transport compliance, and HR processes
- Strong IT skills, including a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer and business needs
- Full, valid UK Driving Licence
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required
