Tardis Environmental UK Ltd are a well-established portable toilet and tanker hire business that operate a large fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles across various locations situated throughout the UK. We hire temporary waste and water solutions from 1000ltr waste and water storage tanks up to 30,000ltr storage tanks. Currently members of FORS and hold Gold accreditation.
We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as we are currently looking to recruit additional staff to support our ever-growing business. We carry out site set ups and installations of temporary site welfare offices/toilet blocks and cabins throughout the UK. We also offer a range of electrical hire items which require testing and maintenance between hires.
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to be based at our Thurrock depot. Applicants will need 18th Edition electrical certification and be fully qualified and competent in carrying out electrical maintenance. Duties will involve PAT testing hire equipment, including portable toilets & pumps, attending plant breakdowns, on-site set up of plant equipment, cabins, and office blocks, for which training will be provided.
We offer internal training to support the works required and actively work to recognise achievements in staff for the purpose of internal promotions.
- Salary: £20.00/hour - negotiable on experience
- Hours: Min 40 per week, overtime available, especially during busy periods
- Traveling: May be required with occasional nights out where a hotel will be provided including a meal voucher or cash alternative for an eatery of your choice
- Company issue: Van - Mobile Phone - Uniform
- Requirement: 18th Edition, NVQ or level 2 or 3 college courses
We offer an annual holiday entitlement of 28 days which includes 8 bank holidays, and for every 2 full years you work for the company, you will receive an additional day’s holiday, up to a maximum of 5 additional days, along with a workplace pension scheme.
