We are a well-established portable toilet and tanker hire business that operates a large fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles across various locations throughout the UK. We hire temporary waste and water solutions from 1000ltr waste and water storage tanks up to 30,000ltr storage tanks.
We are currently looking for an Area Manager to join the team, based at our Sandy depot, and will travel around our UK-based satellite depots, possibly with an occasional night out if required.
Hours: 40 hours minimum per week
Starting Salary: £40,000.00 starting salary + Company Car & Mobile Phone
Requirement: NEBOSH or CPC Holder (Transport Manager)
We are looking for an organised and driven individual with experience in the Transport sector to manage and oversee the day-to-day running of our satellite depots and personnel.
Key attributes:
- Strong in depot auditing and people management skills
- Knowledge of health and safety, transport compliance, and HR
- Good communication is essential in this role
- Highly IT literate in systems, specifically Excel
- Resilient and able to constructively challenge and influence
- Ability to understand customer and business requirements
- Able to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous priorities
- Full and valid UK Driving Licence
We offer an annual holiday entitlement of 28 days which includes 8 bank holidays, and for every 2 full years you work for the company, you will receive an additional day's holiday, up to a maximum of 5 additional days, along with a workplace pension scheme.
