TARCG is recruiting on behalf of a leading aviation maintenance and modification company for a Technical Services Engineer (TSE) to join their team at Stansted. This key role involves producing accurate maintenance work packages and managing complex aircraft maintenance and modification projects to ensure operational excellence and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex aircraft maintenance and modification projects, protecting the critical path.
- Liaise with customers to translate work scope into actionable work packages.
- Produce work packages including access, spares, tooling, manpower, and third‑party service requirements ahead of aircraft downtime.
- Coordinate with approved third‑party vendors and Part‑21 Design Organisations to deliver modifications in line with regulatory requirements (EASA/Foreign NAA).
- Prepare and chair internal pre‑input review meetings with Commercial, Engineering, and Logistics teams.
- Conduct pre‑input review meetings with customers to discuss defects and requirements.
- Oversee aircraft acceptance into maintenance and proactively resolve scheduling issues.
- Provide daily project progress updates to customers.
- Review and complete aircraft documentation, including Technical Logs and Deferral Logs, and support certifying staff during return‑to‑service processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Support management in aligning and managing customer expectations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven project management experience within an engineering environment.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in aviation maintenance, operations, CAMO, or manufacturing.
- Experience with Wings ERP or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Flexible and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
Shift Pattern & Package
- 4 on / 4 off, 07:00 – 19:00
- £40,000 salary + £5,000 shift allowance
- 22 days annual leave
- Benefits: 2× salary life cover, cash plan benefit, salary exchange pension, cycle to work scheme, electric car scheme
