Safety & Compliance Auditor – Exciting Opportunity with a Leading Aviation Organisation

• Location: Northampton with occasional travel
• Hybrid: 1 day remote per week
• Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Our client, a respected leader in the aviation industry, is seeking a Safety & Compliance Auditor to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation where safety and regulatory excellence are at the core of operations.

The Role: As a Safety & Compliance Auditor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting internal and external audits in line with the annual audit plan
• Supporting department heads with root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions
• Maintaining and administering regulatory manuals, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Assisting with the control and issuance of company authorisations
• Supporting higher-level occurrence investigations

About You: Essential:

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the aviation sector
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, policies, and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels
• IT proficient with strong analytical and organisational skills
• Willingness to travel to company bases when required, including in Northern Ireland (a full driving license and access to a vehicle required)

Desirable:

• Experience in aircraft/engine maintenance
• Knowledge of Health & Safety within an aviation environment
• A qualification in auditing and/or project management
• Experience in aviation Quality Assurance (QA)
