TARCG is currently seeking a Quality Inspector who will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating materials and products to meet industry standards and regulations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for checking the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products as per the procedures and customer quality plans. The role will also include assisting in resolving internal rejections with suppliers. The quality inspector will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. An in-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards is essential.

Inspection: Conduct detailed certification, dimensional, and visual inspections of aerospace components to verify compliance with engineering specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies. Approve or reject materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance. AS13001 Delegated Product Release Verification (DPRV) Certified. Familiar with AS9102 First Article via Net-Inspect and ability to generate and submit FAIRs. Use automated systems, such as the Keyence Imaging Measurement machine to perform complex inspection procedures. Ability to mentor and assist with training for Level I inspectors as required.

Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records of inspection results, procedures, and quality documentation. Generate inspection and rejection reports and ensure all required documentation is completed according to industry standards.

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality engineering teams to ensure that products meet quality standards. Identify and report any deviations, defects, or non-conformities, and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in quality inspection procedures and contribute to the development and implementation of enhanced quality control processes.

Compliance: Stay current with aerospace industry regulations, standards, and best practices. Ensure that all inspection activities adhere to relevant quality management systems and aerospace regulations.

Measurement and Calibration: Use precision measurement tools and equipment to verify dimensional accuracy and tolerances. Participate in the calibration and maintenance of inspection tools to ensure accuracy.

Communication: Communicate inspection results and quality issues effectively to engineering, production, and management teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when performing inspections and tests. Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.

Essential Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant certifications in quality inspection, such as ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalent, are advantageous. Proven experience in aerospace quality inspection, including familiarity with industry standards such as AS9100, AS9120, and NADCAP. Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Experience with various inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparator, and Keyence Imaging Measurement machine. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
