TARCG is currently seeking a Head of Charter Sales to work with our client based in London. Our client operates a premium private jet charter service focused on direct end‑user clients, including HNW/UHNW individuals, corporates, family offices, and luxury travel professionals. The company is scaling and requires an experienced senior charter sales leader to drive revenue growth, develop a high‑performing commercial team, and build long‑term client relationships in the luxury aviation sector.
Schedule: Minimum 4 days per week office‑based
The Head of Charter Sales is responsible for defining and delivering the commercial strategy for the private jet charter business. This is a senior commercial leadership role that combines strategic direction with hands‑on sales expertise. The successful candidate will build, lead, and motivate a charter sales team while personally managing strategic client relationships and key revenue opportunities. The role is firmly focused on direct client development, premium relationship management, and sustainable revenue and margin growth in the retail charter market.
Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the charter sales strategy and revenue plan
- Build and maintain a portfolio of direct charter clients and key accounts
- Recruit, develop and lead a high‑performing charter sales team
- Oversee enquiry qualification, aircraft sourcing and quoting
- Represent the brand within the private aviation and luxury sectors
- Ensure accurate pipeline management and performance reporting
Key Requirements
- Proven senior‑level experience in private jet charter sales (e.g., Head of Charter, Charter Sales Director, Senior Charter Broker)
- Demonstrable success in delivering sustained revenue and margin growth
- Established network and credibility within the private aviation client ecosystem
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
- Experience building and leading high‑performing sales teams
- Strong commercial acumen (pricing, yield and margin management)
- High level of professionalism and discretion when dealing with private clients
- Experience working in premium or luxury service environments
