Onsite Buyer – Aviation Supply Chain - Essex

We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join a fast-paced aviation supply chain environment. This role focuses on purchasing, supplier relationship management, and ensuring operational efficiency across the procurement function.

The Role

As a Buyer, you will manage purchasing requirements, maintain strong supplier relationships, and ensure value for money across all procurement activities. You will play a key role in supporting operational delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase aircraft parts and materials in line with operational requirements
  • Manage purchase orders from placement through to delivery
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and new suppliers
  • Investigate and resolve supply chain issues
  • Ensure compliance with customs and export regulations
  • Manage stock, inventory, and consignment materials
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support operations
  • Maintain accurate system data and reporting
  • Manage supplier performance and feedback
