Onsite Buyer – Aviation Supply Chain - Essex
We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join a fast-paced aviation supply chain environment. This role focuses on purchasing, supplier relationship management, and ensuring operational efficiency across the procurement function.
The Role
As a Buyer, you will manage purchasing requirements, maintain strong supplier relationships, and ensure value for money across all procurement activities. You will play a key role in supporting operational delivery and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase aircraft parts and materials in line with operational requirements
- Manage purchase orders from placement through to delivery
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and new suppliers
- Investigate and resolve supply chain issues
- Ensure compliance with customs and export regulations
- Manage stock, inventory, and consignment materials
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams to support operations
- Maintain accurate system data and reporting
- Manage supplier performance and feedback

Requirements
