Onsite Buyer – Aviation Supply Chain - Essex

We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join a fast-paced aviation supply chain environment. This role focuses on purchasing, supplier relationship management, and ensuring operational efficiency across the procurement function.

The Role

  • Manage purchasing requirements, maintain strong supplier relationships, and ensure value for money across all procurement activities.
  • Purchase aircraft parts and materials in line with operational requirements.
  • Manage purchase orders from placement through to delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and new suppliers.
  • Investigate and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Ensure compliance with customs and export regulations.
  • Manage stock, inventory, and consignment materials.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support operations.
  • Maintain accurate system data and reporting.
  • Manage supplier performance and feedback.

  • Experience in purchasing and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.

Requirements
