We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join a fast-paced aviation supply chain environment. This role focuses on purchasing, supplier relationship management, and ensuring operational efficiency across the procurement function.
The Role
- Manage purchasing requirements, maintain strong supplier relationships, and ensure value for money across all procurement activities.
- Purchase aircraft parts and materials in line with operational requirements.
- Manage purchase orders from placement through to delivery.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and new suppliers.
- Investigate and resolve supply chain issues.
- Ensure compliance with customs and export regulations.
- Manage stock, inventory, and consignment materials.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support operations.
- Maintain accurate system data and reporting.
- Manage supplier performance and feedback.
