Our client is looking for an experienced Planning Manager to join their growing maintenance operation. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in developing and managing aircraft maintenance planning within a fast-paced Part 145 environment.
Location: Wales - Cardiff - UK
Role Summary
Our client is seeking a candidate to administer, develop and manage all aspects of aircraft planning related to Part 145 activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop procedures to support a fast-growing Part 145 MRO
- Chair aircraft pre-input meetings
- Review incoming work scope proposals in collaboration with Sales
- Plan all accepted work packages
- Collaborate with logistics and production to ensure smooth aircraft input and efficient turnaround times
- Manage communications with CAMOs regarding work packages
- Oversee management of technical records and technical publications
- Attend global planning and sales meetings on behalf of the business
Key Attributes

Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in airline or MRO maintenance planning
- Third-party MRO experience advantageous
- Previous managerial experience with the ability to lead and develop a team
- Strong knowledge of EASA and CAA Part-M and Part-145 regulations
- Strong IT skills
- Fluent in English
