Senior Permanent and Executive Search Consultant
TARCG are proud to be supporting a leading name in aircraft maintenance and engineering services, to recruit a skilled and motivated B1 Engineer for their South Wales facility.
This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced engineer to bring their expertise in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, whilst leading and mentoring teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and delegate resources to support smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with Part 145 maintenance requirements and customer SLAs.
- Uphold strict safety, quality, and Health & Safety standards.
- Deliver defect rectification, investigation, repair, overhaul, and modifications.
- Lead Technicians and Mechanics during Base Maintenance checks.
- Ensure all paperwork and maintenance documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Liaise with Bay Managers and Production Planners on requirements and potential issues.
- Oversee correct timings, task card bookings, and storage/serviceability of components.
- Maintain high standards of hangar practices and workplace cleanliness.
- Suggest improvements to working conditions, efficiency, and procedures.
- Support compliance with company frameworks, policies, and risk management.
Key Requirements
- At least 5 years’ aircraft maintenance experience (3 years in Base Maintenance).
- Strong ability to use recognised aircraft documentation.
- Wide skillset in aircraft systems: rigging, component replacement, modifications.
- Structural assessment and repair experience.
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems.
Licensing Requirements
- UK CAA AML or EASA AML (issued pre-31.12.20), or UK CAA AML & EASA AML (issued post-31.12.20). Visa and Sponsorship available for EU Nationals who meet the licensing criteria.
- Type Rating & Recency for any Boeing or Airbus family aircraft.
- Airbus A320 Family
