TARCG is currently seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join a leading, well established MRO Organisation based in Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment, supporting a range of advanced avionics systems for both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and electronic repairs on aircraft communication and navigation systems, including radar and radio/audio units.
- Diagnose faults and conduct testing using specialist and general-purpose electronic test equipment.
- Work to precise standards using through-hole and surface-mount soldering techniques.
- Follow component maintenance manuals, regulatory approvals, and internal quality standards.
- Ensure all work is accurately documented with clear and complete repair records.
- Maintain a high standard of quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in cross-training and support other technical areas as required.
Requirements:
- Recognised technical qualifications: NVQ Level 3, HNC, trade certification, or relevant military training.
- Strong understanding of analogue, RF, and digital microprocessor-based systems.
- Experience working in a regulated aerospace environment preferred.
