Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm (Monday - Friday)

Job Summary: We’re offering an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant seeking their first move into industry within a supportive and collaborative finance team, taking responsibility for the accounting function of one of our divisions. The successful candidate will play a key role in month-end reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting the day-to-day finance function, while supervising a small team with our housing division.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Production and review of trial balances
- Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial information
- Operational Finance
- Payroll processing
- Overseeing sales and purchase ledger activities
- Supervising invoicing and day-to-day transactional processes
- Supporting cashflow management
