Join our amazing team and make a real difference every day! We are currently recruiting for a Female Support Worker to join our Support Services Team in Belfast.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- To provide housing related support to assist clients live independently in the community (This will not include personal care tasks).
- To be available to work at times appropriate to the changing needs of the client and for the efficient use of staff resources.
- To assist in the assessment of needs and risks as relevant to each client and to assist in setting and attaining realistic and achievable targets.
- To monitor and record the client’s progress and support tasks delivered during shift.
- To provide a range of services appropriate to the individuals needs.
- To assist clients develop the skills needed to attain, maintain and sustain stable tenancies.
- To promote client involvement and active participation in the service.
- To work in a multi‑agency manner with relevant professionals.
- To act as an advocate for clients as appropriate.
What We Need From You
- Minimum of one year’s work experience, working within housing, social care or equivalent setting with vulnerable clients (young people, children or adults).
- Knowledge of safeguarding issues, practices, and procedures.
- Able to demonstrate good communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate good recording and reporting skills.
- Proven ability to effectively support and work as a member of a team.
- Good understanding of health & safety.
- Able to demonstrate a good level of IT literacy.
- Strong commitment to quality assurance, continuous improvement and the delivery of best practice.
- Able to demonstrate flexibility, self‑motivation, confidence and ability to use initiative.
- Good organisational skills.
- Able to be flexible on approach to work and adaptable to change.
- Ability to work flexible hours when required.
- Full EU driving licence and access to a car.

Recruitment Process
As part of the recruitment process for this role, we will carry out an access NI. For these checks to be completed, we will require relevant identification, including proof of address, references, a valid passport and proof that you have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.

- Working hours: 8 pm – 8 am.
- Location: Belfast Area.
