We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Officer to join our team in Armagh.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Support managers to identify, manage, and reduce risks associated with their work environments, including:
- Violence and aggression
- Lone working
- Medication environments
- Fire safety and emergency planning
What We're Looking For
- Health & Safety Qualification (NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent)
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation in NI and ROI
- Experience in one or all of the following: housing, healthcare, or mental health services
- Strong risk assessment and incident investigation skills
- Good organisational skills
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in complex mental health housing or care settings
- Fire safety or manual handling qualification
- IOSH membership
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30
Location: Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland (Based in Armagh)
