We are currently recruiting for a Housing Property Maintenance Operative to join our Team! Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 Location: Greater Belfast Area Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Operatives to join our Housing team. You will be part of a team working alongside other operatives, undertaking a high standard of multi trade repairs and refurbishment activities to Housing properties. Key Responsibilities: Carry out general domestic repairs, maintenance and minor refurbishments across Tarasis properties Undertake basic plumbing, carpentry, plastering, decorating and tiling tasks Conduct routine property inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues often in collaboration with landlords, letting agents, the Housing Executive, and Tarasis representatives Implement and adhere to all Tarasis Housing Maintenance and Repairs policies and procedures Maintain positive working relationships with sub-contractors, tenants, commissioners, and internal staff Carry out routine inspections of company vehicles, tools, and equipment Maintain detailed maintenance logs and report on daily activities What we\’re looking for: Proven experience in general property maintenance or a trade (Plumbing, joinery, plastering) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on your own initiative Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety Strong communication and interpersonal skills Full UK driving licence (vehicle provided) Benefits we can offer you: Health cashback plan Paid holidays Full training + personal development.
