We are currently seeking an experienced Groundskeeper to maintain gardens and outdoor spaces to a high standard. This is a full-time role suited to someone with strong horticultural knowledge who enjoys hands-on, outdoor work and takes pride in well-kept grounds. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled gardener who is reliable, detail-focused, and able to work both independently and as part of a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lawn care including grass cutting, edging, hedge trimming, and pruning
  • Planting, turfing, seeding, and soil preparation
  • General garden and grounds maintenance throughout the year
  • Use and care of powered hand tools and light gardening equipment
  • Maintaining the overall appearance and presentation of outdoor areas
  • Ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety requirements
  • Working cooperatively with others when required

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of hands-on gardening / grounds maintenance experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work safely and follow health & safety procedures
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Desirable Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Horticulture (or higher)
  • Experience maintaining parks, open spaces or sports facilities
  • Ability to operate light plant or ride-on machinery
