We are looking for a reliable, friendly person with attention to detail to join our Store Team on a full-time basis.
This role is a physical, hands-on role in a busy area of the business. Accuracy, attention to detail, planning & organisation and communication are all essential skills for this role.
You will be working with a committed and motivated team who prides themselves on the quality produce and service we offer our customers here at New World.
Your main duties will include:
Unloading and receipting in all deliveries into the storeroom.
- Unpacking deliveries for retail staff to put into the shop.
- Moving and arranging stock within the storeroom to meet the needs of the business.
- Housekeeping
- General maintenance work around the store
What you\’ll need:
- Hold a current forklift license, and be confident and capable of using this safely in a busy environment.
- Top notch communication
- Be flexible deliveries aren\’t always on time!
- Have exceptional driving skills
- Accurate handling and computer processing of all incoming stock
- Work efficiently and effectively
- Be physically fit – the role involves, standing / lifting / twisting / forklift use
- Be disciplined in your approach to Food Safety
- Be disciplined in your approach to Health & Safety
- Take pride in your productivity, and the contribution you make to the team
