Tarafi Capital Advisory is a boutique advisory firm supporting growth-stage companies on capital raising and strategic transactions across buy-side and sell-side mandates. We are looking for a Research Intern to support our deal sourcing, investor targeting and market research efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in venture capital, private equity, M&A and startup ecosystems.

What you'll work on:

  • You will help build the data and research that powers live capital raising and transaction mandates.

Responsibilities include:

  • Researching venture capital, growth equity and strategic investors
  • Building and maintaining investor and acquirer databases
  • Mapping VC portfolios and identifying warm intro paths
  • Identifying relevant founders, partners and senior decision makers
  • Conducting market and competitor research on live mandates
  • Supporting outreach preparation and CRM management
  • Helping prepare research summaries and short briefs

This role sits at the intersection of venture capital, private markets and strategic advisory.

What we're looking for:

  • Highly detail-oriented and organised
  • Curious about startups, venture capital and M&A
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and online research tools
  • A strong written communicator
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Interested in private markets / finance / startups

Bonus (not required):

  • Experience with Excel, Notion, Airtable or CRM tools
  • Experience using LinkedIn, Crunchbase, PitchBook, etc.
  • Previous internship in startups, finance or consulting
