About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Assist in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities
  • Support students’ emotional regulation and social development
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment
  • Contribute to behaviour management strategies in line with school policies

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with children or young people (education, care, or support settings)
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • An understanding of additional needs such as ASD, SEMH, or learning difficulties (desirable but not essential)
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to individual student needs

Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
