An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a secondary school on a long-term basis from after February half term. This role may also include general cover responsibilities as required.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching Geography across KS3&4
  • Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons
  • Assessing, marking and tracking student progress
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Providing general cover when required
  • Contributing positively to the wider school community

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Geography within a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • A flexible and professional approach, particularly when covering other subjects
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
