Are you an enthusiastic French Teacher looking for your next opportunity in a supportive secondary school environment? We are seeking a dedicated French Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Telford from September 2026 on a rolling basis. Timetable details are currently being finalised and will be confirmed prior to commencement.

The Role

We are looking for an inspiring French Teacher who can deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that encourage students to develop confidence and fluency in the French language. The successful candidate will be committed to raising standards, promoting a love of languages, and ensuring all learners achieve their potential.

  • Planning and delivering engaging French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Assessing, monitoring and supporting student progress.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Encouraging students to develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement.
  • Contributing to the wider Modern Foreign Languages department and school community.

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
