Tara Professional Recruitment is the leading supplier of Teachers and Support staff in Shropshire and we are currently looking to expand our existing pool of supply teachers.

We work with a number of Secondary Schools in Telford and Wrekin, ranging from large academies within MATs to smaller independent schools.

The Role: As a TARA Supply Teacher, you choose how many days a week you want to work and which days you would like. It can provide variety in your day-to-day activities, giving you the opportunity to work in different types of schools while also improving your work-life balance with no marking or preparation on day-to-day supply.

Tara asks that applicants have the following:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching in KS3 & KS4
• A good level of classroom management
• A passion for working with young people
• Safeguarding training (with Certificate) – We can provide a course if you don’t have this
• A current DBS on the update service – we can apply for a new one if you don’t have one
• Be happy to do the best job you possibly can in the current circumstances!
