As an Apprentice Recruiter, you will support the recruitment team by sourcing and screening candidates, completing compliance checks, and assisting consultants with daily and long‑term school bookings. You’ll gain hands‑on experience while working towards a Level 3 Recruiter Apprenticeship.
What You'll Do
- Sourcing teachers, teaching assistants and support staff using online platforms
- Telephone screening candidates to assess suitability, availability and preferences
- Supporting candidates through registration, safeguarding checks and onboarding
- Preparing job adverts and candidate profiles
- Updating CRM systems accurately and consistently
- Assisting consultants with daily and long‑term school bookings
- Maintaining regular communication with candidates and schools
- Handling incoming calls and delivering excellent customer service
- Supporting ID checks, compliance documentation and safeguarding processes
- Matching candidates to roles based on skills and school requirements
- Working collaboratively within a friendly, supportive team
- Learning how to independently recruit and manage your own candidate pool
- Developing your personal brand as a recruiter and representing the company professionally

Training
You will complete a Recruiter Level 3 Apprenticeship, delivered through a partnership between Tara Professional Recruitment and Juniper Training Limited. This includes structured learning alongside your role, with time allocated away from day‑to‑day duties to develop professional knowledge and skills.
