TARA Professional Recruitment is currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across mainstream schools and specialist SEN provisions throughout Telford and Shropshire.
We are seeking passionate, patient and dedicated individuals to support children and young people with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and complex needs.
Roles available include:
- 1:1 SEN support within mainstream primary and secondary schools
- Small group and class-based support within specialist SEN provisions and alternative settings
The role:
- Supporting pupils with their learning, behaviour and emotional needs
- Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement individual support plans
- Encouraging independence, confidence and positive engagement in learning
- Providing a safe, supportive and nurturing environment
We are keen to hear from candidates who:
- Have experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or care-based experience welcomed)
- Are calm, resilient and adaptable
- Have a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
- Are available for day-to-day, short-term or long-term placements
