Casual Contract: Work as much or as little as you want!

Tara Professional Recruitment is the leading supplier of Teachers and Support staff in Shropshire and we are currently looking to expand our existing pool of supply teachers.

We work with a number of Secondary Schools in the North Shropshire area, including Oswestry, Wem, Whitchurch and Market Drayton. These schools range from large academies within MATs to smaller independent schools.

The Role:

As a TARA Supply Teacher, you choose how many days a week you want to work and which days you would like. It can provide variety in your day-to-day activities, giving you the opportunity to work in different types of schools while also improving your work-life balance with no marking or preparation on day-to-day supply.

Tara asks that applicants have the following:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching in KS3 & KS4
• A good level of classroom management
• A passion for working with young people
• Safeguarding training (with Certificate) – We can provide a course if you don’t have this
• A current DBS on the update service – we can apply for a new one if you don’t have one
• Be happy to do the best job you possibly can in the current circumstances!
