About the Role:
I am supporting a school that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their thriving Mathematics department. This is a temporary position initially, with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate. The successful applicant will deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to achieve their best and fostering a love of mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated Maths lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policy
- Contribute to curriculum development and the wider Maths department
- Provide pastoral support and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings, and professional development activities
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Maths
- Has experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
- Is committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement
