This opportunity is initially expected to run until December, with the possibility of extension depending on the school's needs. The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. While the preference is for a full-time appointment, the school is willing to consider part-time applications from suitably qualified candidates. Key responsibilities include: * Delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons. * Planning, preparing, and assessing student work. * Monitoring and reporting on student progress. * Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement. * Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their potential. * Contributing to departmental and whole-school initiatives where appropriate. Requirements To be considered for this Maths Teacher position, candidates should possess: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. * Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting. * Strong classroom management skills. * Excellent communication and organisational abilities. * A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. * The ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. Qualifications Applicants should have: * A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). * A degree in Mathematics or a related subject. * An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
