About the Role
Tara Professional Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a highly specialist school for children and young people aged 3β19 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and experienced SEN teacher to join a well-resourced and supportive school environment where pupils receive highly personalised teaching and care. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, tailored learning to pupils with a range of complex needs, including SLD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and other associated conditions.

Candidate Requirements
Essential:

- Strong understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Experience working with pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desirable:
- Experience with communication approaches such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC
- Knowledge of sensory integration strategies
- Team Teach or equivalent positive behaviour support training
