Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator – Stainless / Aluminium / Mild Steel (Temp to Perm) Location: Birmingham, B33 Salary: £16 - £18 Job Type: Temporary to Permanent, Full-Time Job Description: We're recruiting on behalf of an established engineering fabrication business in Birmingham for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their busy workshop on a temp-to-perm basis , with a permanent position offered to the right candidate after a qualifying period. This is a varied, hands-on role covering a genuine mix of fabrication work — no repetitive production-line output. You'll be working across stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel, producing quality fabricated components and assemblies from engineering drawings. What you'll be doing: Fabricating in stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel TIG welding (particularly stainless steel and aluminium) MIG welding Sheet metal folding and forming Guillotine cutting Press brake operation Rolling/forming sheet materials Working accurately from engineering drawings What we're looking for: Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator in an industrial/engineering environment
