About Us
We’re building the world’s leading cross-border fintech for emerging markets - empowering families, fueling local economies, and changing how millions access financial services. Since our launch in 2019, we have transformed how money moves across borders with our operations spanning 6 out of 7 continents and covering both the busiest and most underserved (remittance) corridors. We tapped into a massive shift - from banks to phones - bringing digital finance to places where traditional systems never reached. The next stage of growth will fuel a network of services and products especially designed to make money more accessible to diaspora communities including local cards, and additional savings and payments features.
The Role
India is the biggest remittance market with over $130 billion a year flowing home to it, from everywhere: engineers in the Bay Area and Sydney, cabbies in Toronto, construction crews in Dubai, shopkeepers in Leicester, students in Berlin. Your job is to win this market. You are someone who gets excited by the nuances of the Indian diaspora and how to reach each group, and who wants to own the P&L, the regulatory landscape and pricing at the same time. As the GM, you own the P&L, and set pricing. For customer growth, you decide which communities to acquire and in what order. Know the RBI's rules well enough to see the openings inside them, not just the limits.
What You'll Own
- The P&L. Volume, gross profit and CAC across every India corridor.
- Strategy and sequencing. Which sender markets, which communities, which channels, in what order.
- Pricing. Set FX and fee strategy corridor by corridor.
- The regulatory and partner landscape. Know the terrain cold and own the local relationships.
- Product. Obsess over UX and the services NRIs actually need.
- The diaspora puzzle. Get in front of each community authentically, and cheaply.
- The team. Hire, coach and retain people in India and in sending markets.
Who You Are
- 10 to 15 years in high-growth environments: startups, operations, consulting, finance, fintech.
- Diaspora-fluent. Real knowledge of and networks in the Indian diaspora.
- Commercially sharp. Holds pricing, unit economics and CAC math in their head.
- A hustler with judgment. Closes a bank partnership, reviews corridor margins, shows up at a community event.
- A regulatory realist. Understands RBI rules and the compliance realities of moving money into India.
- Multilingual, ideally. Fluent in English. Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam are genuine assets.
Location: London or Dubai. Regular travel to India and sending markets is part of the job.
Why This Role
India is the largest remittance market in the world, and winning it moves the whole company forward. This role owns that outcome, with the authority and the accountability that come with it.
