We’re looking for a Manager to lead Growth and Partnerships for our Central Asia and Eastern Europe corridor, targeting diaspora communities in key send markets including UAE, EU, UK, US, Canada, and Australia. You’ll own the full growth strategy and execution—from customer acquisition and partnerships to brand building and customer insights. You’ll be the go‑to expert for all things in the Central Asia and Eastern Europe region, building trust within the diaspora, running campaigns, managing local ambassadors and influencers, and ensuring an outstanding user experience. You’ll spearhead our business development and partnership efforts in the Central Asia and Eastern Europe region to shortlist, select, and execute partnerships from A to Z with prominent local banks and partners. This role blends strategy and execution: you’ll operate at a high level while also diving into data, speaking directly to users, and rolling up your sleeves to drive results. It’s perfect for someone who’s entrepreneurial, data‑driven, and community‑minded.
Responsibilities
- Build trust‑based relationships with diaspora communities through in‑person and online communications.
- Conduct customer research with senders and recipients on a regular basis.
- Initiate, negotiate and build partnerships with community associations and organizations.
- Set up offline and online advertising campaigns.
- Source and lead community ambassadors and influencers.
- Manage agencies for paid, creatives, and events.
- Manage customers’ CRM.
- Optimize operations with help from product, ops, engineering and support teams.
- Deep‑dive into customer pain points and work with the different teams as well as the Country Manager to solve them.
- Travel to major corridors to connect with and better understand the Central Asia diaspora and grow our customer base.
- Dedicate part of your time to call customers and respond to messages/comments on our social media channels.
- Work with the Country Manager/CEO of GCC to outline the growth plan for the market, including the growth strategy, monthly budget, targets, CAC, and CRM campaigns.
Requirements
- Based in Dubai or London ideally.
- 7+ years of experience in high‑growth environments such as startups, marketing, fintechs.
- Exceptional knowledge and networks among the Central Asia diaspora in the UAE, Europe, and around the world (UK, US, Canada, and Australia).
- Strong business development, sales, marketing and analytical background.
- Experience with paid marketing activities.
- Having contacts with Central Asian influencers and celebrities is a plus.
- Strong relationships with local banks and fintech players in Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Armenia, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for working with and for migrant communities.
- Resourceful and able to get things done, doing “more” with “less.”
- Fluency in English and Russian, written and spoken, is a must.
