We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Marine Carpenter to join our team in Somerset, MA. The role requires carpentry skills and mathematical proficiency for accurate measurements.

Pay Rate: $31 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time (may accept non-local candidates with per diem)
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow engineering blueprints and drawings.
- Ability to measure, lay out, and assemble components.
- Experience with basic hand and small power tools.
- Mathematical and analytical skills for complex carpentry tasks with minimal assistance.
- Ability to measure, cut, and install a variety of appearance-grade materials.
- Experience working with metal, wood, and other materials.
- Capability to build out galley, salon, and helm station.
- Ability to modify cabinetry and trim for better fit and function.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and manipulate objects up to 60 lbs.
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport equipment and boxes.
- Comfort working on and climbing ladders, bending, stooping, crawling, and working aboard ships in shipyard and water environments.
- Ability to work in industrial conditions and confined spaces.
- Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment.
