Head of Marketing & Communications

Full-Time No working from home possible

For more than 40 years, Tapping House Hospice has been at the heart of our communities, providing exceptional palliative care and support when people need it most. We’ve been on quite a journey – refreshing our brand, diversifying our income streams and building a sustainable charity that can continue to be there for generations to come. Now we’re looking for an exceptional Head of Marketing and Communications to help write the next chapter.

Marketing and communications are central to everything we do. Every day we share the remarkable stories of courage, compassion and hope that emerge from our care teams, our patients, their families and our wider community. We inspire support, grow our reach and show people how they can get involved to make a real difference.

This role is about more than delivering campaigns. It’s about answering some of our biggest questions: How do we ensure Tapping House is recognised, valued and loved across every community we serve? How do we demonstrate the impact of our work and inspire people to support a cause that touches us all?

This is marketing and communications with purpose. You’ll need to be as disciplined as you are creative, as commercially minded as compassionate, and able to inspire both colleagues and communities alike. Most importantly, you’ll believe in our vision: that every person affected by a life-limiting condition will be offered choice and access to excellent rest-of-life care and bereavement support. You’ll be part of an organisation with passion and spark in all we do and you’ll help us shape the future of Tapping House to ensure more people receive the care they deserve for years to come.
