Role Purpose
Scottish Borders Council is seeking an enthusiastic Programme Support Officer to administer Funding Programmes within the Economic Development Investment Team. The council is committed to delivering regeneration, growth, tackling inequalities and poverty, and promoting Community Wealth Building and a sense of Place across the region. The team manages UK and Scottish Government investment programmes such as the Shared Prosperity Fund, Place-based investment, and the Community Led Local Development fund, in partnership with the Local Action Group. The postholder should have experience supporting and coordinating funding programmes in the public or third sector, with good knowledge of Microsoft packages and SharePoint.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
- HNC in Administrative, Business, or Financial subject or equivalent experience
- Ongoing commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
