Role Purpose
To have day to day responsibility to lead and manage the early years team within Broomlands ELC to deliver high quality early learning and childcare, in line with local and national policy, procedures and objectives.
Essential Qualifications
- BA Childhood Practice, PDA 9 Childhood Practice or other equivalent, relevant qualification recognised by the Scottish Social Services Council for Registration as a Manager in a Daycare of Children's Service with no conditions.
- A practice qualification is required: HNC Childhood Practice or SVQ 7 Social Services Children and Young People (must include units relating to children's learning and development) or NNEB/SNNEB.
All successful applicants will be required to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of appointment and maintain registration throughout the period of employment.
