Role Purpose

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team member to join our Facilities Team. Working alongside an existing team of Facility Coordinators your main responsibility will be to line‑manage and oversee the day‑to‑day running of the facilities operation. From implementing and overseeing the cleaning function across an array of council properties to supporting the Janitorial, Caretaking and School Crossing patrol services within a given area. This role can be fast‑paced and demanding; flexibility and a ‘can‑do’ attitude are essential. The base is HQ but travel will be required daily to the area that is being managed; a van will be allocated to the successful candidate to carry out those site visits.

Essential

• Standard grades in Maths and English
• Health and Safety risk assessments – COSHH
• A current driving licence and use of a vehicle
