Primary Purpose: The Account Manager is responsible for driving the growth and development of Coach Footwear across European Wholesale, strengthening existing partnerships and building the client portfolio in line with growth strategies. The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Wholesale Sales to:
- Develop Coach’s Footwear category across key European Wholesale accounts by driving existing partnerships, implementing growth strategies, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Manage sales appointments in four markets a year and present assortment strategies tailored to each account, informed by performance and seasonal regional strategy.
- Collect and process orders, ensuring alignment with OTB expectations and key seasonal product messages.
- Support the Sales Manager with developing a European growth strategy for the Footwear category and establishing the processes needed for successful execution.
- Analyse year-on-year growth and produce seasonal trade reports that highlight sales performance, seasonal product wins, challenges, and opportunities for internal and external audiences.
- Develop short and mid-term plans to achieve sales and turnover targets, while supporting the Sales Manager with longer-term commercial plans and regional strategies for key accounts.
- Track and present weekly and quarterly sales performance, creating action plans where needed and maximising ATS opportunities.
- Own seasonal and yearly OTB planning and long-range planning.
- Build strong relationships with accounts through regular touchpoints and maintain an agile approach to business needs.
- Work with Finance to review and evaluate account profitability.
- Partner with the Marketing team to develop tailored plans for key accounts, ensuring media plans align with regional strategy and trade activity.
- Deliver strong operational execution by partnering with Wholesale Customer Service to manage the order lifecycle, support order book conversion, and liaise with Accounts Receivable on customer payments.
The accomplished individual will possess:
- Extensive experience managing retail wholesale portfolios for brick-and-mortar and online.
- Experience overseeing accounts across Europe, with the ability to navigate diverse market dynamics.
- Strong expertise in Footwear and/or Ready-to-Wear product categories.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Excel & PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to travel across Europe as required.
- Collaborative team player, highly motivated and target-driven.
- Highly analytical with an eye for detail and ability to translate data into actionable points.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-performance environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Agile approach to business development, with the ability to pivot in response to changing business needs.
