Purpose: Elevating Tapestry’s brand presence and establishing our position as a leader in market research. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this role is responsible for the creation, refinement and distribution of high quality, impactful content that develops Tapestry’s position and delivers lead generation and commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thought Leadership Content: Work closely with the Commercial Director to feed into and fulfil a strategic quarterly content calendar, working towards the annual content goals. Develop and finesse compelling content, including thought leadership pieces, white papers, reports, blog posts, LinkedIn content, and articles. Work with the Consulting team to identify case studies or topic areas for thought leadership. Think strategically about the use and conversion of content ensuring plans are aligned to product and wider growth targets. Ensure all content is well-researched, aligned with commercial and strategic goals, and highly engaging for our target audience.
  • Content Production & Design: Edit and develop existing marketing and sales materials, including creds decks and product sales collateral, ensuring professional polish, clarity, and consistency in brand look, voice and tone. Play a key role in supporting the development of new materials, ensuring brand and voice consistency and materials deliver within audience segments. Apply strong design/layout sensibilities to make all materials (presentations, proposals, reports) visually appealing and easily digestible.
  • Digital Distribution & Management: Create content plans that align with commercial strategic goals, manage and update the company’s LinkedIn presence and website content, ensuring timely and strategic promotion of new content and company news, demonstrating consistent growth in brand and market presence to key segments. Optimize content for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) where relevant to increase organic visibility. Seek to get Tapestry content in key journals, podcasts and presence at industry and sector events.
  • Brand & Quality Control: Act as a guardian of the company’s brand, ensuring all external communications (including for example: website, LinkedIn, publicly facing articles & thought leadership, newsletters, conference submissions, awards entries etc.) adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a high standard of quality and deliver impact.
  • Campaign Delivery & Measurement: Support the launch of thought leadership campaigns (e.g. LinkedIn, trade press etc) and assist in measuring campaign effectiveness (e.g. content performance, lead conversion).
  • Event Support: Supporting the commercial team with coordination of any sponsorship, presence and speaking engagements at external industry events and events organised by Tapestry. Managing event communications.
  • Exceptional Writing & Editing Skills: A proven track record of writing high-quality, professional content, with a keen eye for grammar, syntax, and persuasive narrative.
  • Visual Presentation Skills: Proficiency in tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, InDesign, or similar) to create visually stunning and professional documents and digital assets.
  • Content Strategy & Production: Experience in the full content lifecycle, from ideation and drafting to final publication and promotion.
  • Digital Platform Fluency: Experience managing and updating business-focused social media (especially LinkedIn) and website content (via WordPress).
  • Industry Knowledge & Experience: Minimum 3 years experience working in a Market Research Agency, with (desirable) 2 years in a marketing execution or B2B content creation capacity.

  • Proven track record at mid to senior level of delivering growth in a marketing and communications role, showing knowledge of marketing brand and product in a B2B role.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and application of best practice in marketing, corporate communications and branding.
  • Self-Starter & Proactive Drive: a highly proactive, self-motivated individual, able to take the initiative, work under pressure and deal with ambiguity without constant direction.
  • Independent Operator: able to work independently and efficiently manage their time, delivering consistent output with minimal supervision.
  • Commercially Astute: driven by a desire to understand the commercial goals of the business and align content creation to measurable outcomes.
  • Adaptability & Focus: Possess a willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new priorities and processes.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: exhibits respect and awareness when engaging with diverse internal teams and external audiences, ensuring all communication supports a unified brand culture.

Commitment & Compensation:

  • This is a part-time role - 3 days per week (24 hours total).
  • Flexibility: We offer flexibility on specific working hours/days, however the successful candidate must be available for key scheduled internal meetings which may require specific hours on some days – including some US hours availability.
  • Location: Flexible/hybrid. The role can be fully remote, fully office-based (Farringdon, UK office) or hybrid. There will be a requirement to attend the office periodically for critical team meetings, workshops and planning sessions.
  • Pro-Rata Salary: The annual actual salary will be pro-rata based on a 0.6 FTE/24-hour week (e.g. based on £45k FTE, the pro-rata salary would be £27,000).
  • Contract Type: We are open to engaging the right candidate on either a Permanent Employment contract or a Self-Employed (Contractor) basis. Terms will be finalised based on the candidate’s preference and status.
