The Analyst, FP&A supports trade reporting and financial planning across Tapestry’s European Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels by delivering high-quality reporting, insightful analysis, and accurate forecasting. Reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A, the role partners closely with the wider FP&A function and cross-functional stakeholders to identify key risks and opportunities, evaluate store profitability and analyse new store performance. The Analyst is also responsible for ensuring the integrity of sales and gross margin data across systems, enabling informed decision-making and effective business planning.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Financial Planning and Analysis to:
  • Produce and distribute weekly trading reports, and support the consolidation and preparation of weekly trade presentations
  • Analyse customer mix and sales performance by country, providing actionable insights to identify trends and inform business decisions
  • Deliver monthly 4-wall reporting and P&Ls for the brick-and-mortar fleet, monitoring store profitability
  • Track and evaluate new store performance against plan, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Support monthly forecasting for DTC channels alongside the Senior FP&A Manager
  • Prepare standard corporate deliverables on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Contribute to clear, consistent, and evolving business reporting aligned with corporate strategy
  • Lead the new store opening setup process, coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure alignment
  • Maintain project timelines to support effective planning for new store openings
  • Own sales reconciliations for European DTC channels, across systems CORA and PBCS
  • Prepare monthly revenue adjustment journals in line with accounting requirements
  • Manage Sales and GM data uploads into PBCS for planning and reforecasting cycles and data uploads in CORA for monthly forecasting and store planning
  • Provide ad hoc analytical and reporting support as required
The accomplished individual will possess:
  • Strong academic achievement at graduate level or proven experience operating at Assistant or Analyst level within a Commercial Finance or FP&A environment
  • Part-qualified CIMA (or equivalent), or a willingness to pursue a professional qualification, with a strong foundation in core financial principles, techniques, and practices
  • Good working knowledge of International Accounting Standards; familiarity with US GAAP is advantageous
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with SAP and Hyperion is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across a range of stakeholders
  • Driven, ambitious, and motivated to build a long-term career in finance
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights and provide meaningful commentary to support business decision-making
