Primary Purpose: The Assistant Manager will oversee the order management function within Store Construction for Tapestry's brands, Coach and Kate Spade New York, across the EMEAI region. The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Store Construction to:

  • Oversee the complete order management process for new store openings, renovations, and rollouts across Tapestry brands in Europe, The Middle East, South Africa, and India.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to address any challenges related to order placement, production, or billing, offering assistance and resources to ensure project progress remains uninterrupted.
  • Work closely with cross functional partners from various departments, such as finance, logistics, store design, and visual merchandising, to ensure smooth project implementation.
  • Manage every step of the purchase order process for store construction, including creating orders, approving invoices for payment, monitoring logistics and keeping accurate records.
  • Support construction managers in closing project budgets on schedule.
  • Maintain payment schedule compliance with vendors and finance teams during project delivery.
  • Support construction managers in preparing feasibility studies and maintaining budget tracking updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist construction managers with the evaluation, analysis and award recommendation of tender submissions for new store openings.
  • Create and issue SBO (Supplied by Owner) logs.
  • Produce and maintain status reports tracking all order management deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain historical construction cost data specific to the region.
  • Coordinate millwork and material deliveries with vendors and logistics partners.
  • Support on ad‑hoc projects as needed.

The accomplished individual will possess:

  • 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in retail production, supply chain management or in a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Strong multitasking and order management skills with excellent communication and prioritization abilities, and the flexibility to operate effectively in a dynamic international market.
  • A collaborative working style, with the ability to partner across multiple internal and external cross‑disciplinary teams.
