About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Community Hub Events Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of a diverse programme of events and activities across our community hubs. This role is key to increasing engagement, promoting inclusion, and ensuring our hubs remain vibrant and welcoming spaces for local residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver events, workshops, and activities
- Manage event logistics including scheduling, bookings, and setup
- Travelling to and from our four Hubs within Havering
- Build relationships with local residents, partners, and community groups
- Promote events through social media and local networks
- Monitor attendance, outcomes, and event impact
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and safeguarding requirements
About You
- Experience in event planning or community engagement
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident engaging with diverse communities
- Compassionate and person-focused
- Competent in Microsoft Office and digital tools
- Experience in a community, charity, or public sector setting
- Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety
- Marketing or social media experience

- DBS check may be required
- Travel between sites will be necessary
