Due to the nature and size of the restaurant, this role is ideal for an experienced waiter or host with a great personality, a strong sense of responsibility, excellent organisation, and a keen attention to detail.

The Reservations Host will play a key role in representing and upholding the Brindisa vision and values, delivering outstanding customer service to every guest, from the moment they make contact with us through to their visit and departure. The goal is to ensure guests are met with a seamless, personal experience that exceeds expectations, encourages return visits, and contributes to increased revenue.

Given the small size of the restaurant, the Reservations Host will also be required to support the front-of-house team on the restaurant floor during service. While they will not be responsible for covering a full section, they will be expected to actively assist during busy periods. Working days may vary during bank holidays and festive periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all reservations and walk-in bookings efficiently and accurately via SevenRooms and other channels.
  • Greet all diners warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus.
  • Answer the restaurant phone promptly, handling guest communications clearly and courteously.
  • Proactively minimise cancellations and inform guests of any last-minute changes.
  • Support smooth floor operations during service while keeping primary focus on hosting duties.
  • Provide flexible and appropriate solutions to guest requests and queries.
  • Maintain high standards of service, anticipating guest needs.
  • Take proactive actions such as arranging suitable seating, suggesting menu items, and helping with table service when required.
  • Thank guests at the end of their visit and report any feedback to the management team.
  • Maintain and update guest profiles, tags, and relevant CRM data to support marketing and personalisation efforts.
  • Complete end-of-day reports in line with company standards and procedures.
