We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder who has experience working with stainless steel and aluminium and is looking for a permanent role with a growing and reputable business.
The Role
- Carrying out MIG and TIG welding on a variety of fabricated components
- Working with stainless steel and aluminium to produce high-quality products
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- Fabricating, assembling, and finishing components to required standards
- Conducting quality inspections to ensure work meets customer specifications
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a MIG & TIG Welder
- Strong welding experience with stainless steel and aluminium
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Experience in fabrication and assembly
- Skilled in grinding, finishing, and using hand and power tools
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
